Endorsing and reimbursement of Specials
For pharmacists in England, Wales and Scotland the reimbursement of Specials is now governed by the respective Drug Tariffs. In each case there are a number of products listed in the tariff with a minimum quantity and price for that quantity and a price per subsequent unit dose thereafter, unless the product is in a special container. All other Special Order products remain 'non-tariff' lines. The rules and regulations differ between tariff and non-tariff lines and between countries.
