Summary

Meeting the needs of customers with disabilities doesn’t have to be stressful or difficult. Most of the time using the principles of good communication and good customer service will help you make any adjustments. Be prepared to be flexible in your approach and where possible have plans for different scenarios before you are presented with them. There are lots of sources of information and training for supporting customers with disabilities so make use of them. Making your pharmacy more accessible for customers with disabilities makes it more accessible for everyone.
