During the winter months, most people will experience flare ups with their eczema and will become irritated and dry. Eczema is the most common non-contagious skin condition, affecting all ages with symptoms differing from person to person.

There are some self-help tips from the National Eczema Society here.

Ensure you can comfortably recommend creams and emollients available over the counter in the event that your patients or customers start to address the issues they are experiencing in the winter. Always refer to the pharmacist for further guidance if you are unsure. You can read our Counter Excellence on Dry skin and eczema.
