Drinking excessive levels of alcohol can not only leave people feeling quite delicate around the edges but can cause serious damage. Ensure you are up to speed on government guidelines - current advice is not to drink more than 14 units of alcohol a week (men and women).

To add some humour to your conversations, you could ask your customers if they know what a unit of alcohol is – perhaps ask them to measure it out for you!

The easiest way of avoiding a hangover is not to drink, however people may not follow this through during the celebrations (especially Christmas parties!) so you can find a few self-help tips below.

Self-help Tips

  • Take paracetamol to relieve a headache
  • Drink plenty of water
  • Don’t drink on an empty stomach
