Drugs of Abuse

The Multi Drug Test is a one-step screening test that can detect the presence or absence of multiple drugs and their metabolites in human urine. It can screen for drugs such as cocaine, amphetamine, methamphetamine, cannabis, opiates, and benzodiazepines.   

The test involves immersing the test panel into a urine sample for 10 seconds. Afterward, the test panel is placed on a flat surface and the results are read after 5 minutes. The presence or absence of coloured lines in specific windows indicates the presence or absence of drugs.

This may be carried out at home or in the pharmacy. They could be done for a variety of reasons including, customer / patients choice, healthcare professionals recoomendation,  screening for pre-employment purposes or to comply with a drug rehabilitation programme.
