Why would a female need to delay her period?

It would be really inconvenient if a period were to coincide with an important event, especially for females who suffer very painful periods, these customers would find it very helpful if they are able to have access to this medication without having to visit their GP.  Obtaining this medication at the convenience of their local Pharmacy would be beneficial, less stressful and create confidence and customer loyalty for the pharmacy. 

A few examples of when the service may be needed include:

A period delay service, may allow you to supply norethisterone tablets, via a Patient Group Direction (PGD), to temporarily delay a customer’s period.
