The groups eligible for the NHS funded flu vaccination programme are as follows
England:
• Adults aged from 18 years to less than 64 years of age in a clinical risk group*
• Pregnant women
• Those in long-stay residential care homes
• Carers
• Close contacts of immunocompromised individuals
• Frontline staff employed by the following types of social care providers without employer led occupational health schemes
- A registered residential care or nursing home
- Registered domiciliary care provider
- A voluntary managed hospice provider
- Direct Payment (personal budgets) or personal health budgets, such as personal assistants
Wales: (the eligibility cohort for 23/24 has not been announced - this will be updated once it is confirmed)
• Adults aged from 18 years to less than 64 years of age in a clinical risk group*
• Pregnant women
• Carers
• Staff in nursing homes and care homes with regular client contact
• Staff providing domiciliary care.
• Staff providing frontline NHS/Primary care services
• Healthcare workers (including healthcare students) with direct patient contact
• Individuals experiencing homelessness
Scotland:
Eligible cohorts will be determined within individual Health Board service specifications
