Preparation & Positioning

1. Seat the child comfortably — in a chair or on a parent’s lap.
2. Ensure the child is sitting upright.

Vaccine Administration Steps

1. Remove the applicator tip (from the end that goes into the nostril).
   Do NOT remove the dose-divider clip at the opposite end.
2. Insert the tip just inside the first nostril.
3. Depress the plunger quickly to administer half the dose.
4. Remove the applicator from the nostril.
5. Remove the dose-divider clip.
6. Insert the tip into the other nostril.
7. Depress the plunger quickly to deliver the remaining dose.

After Administration
Dispose of the used applicator according to local clinical waste guidelines.

Storage Guidance (from SPC)
Fluenz can be stored outside the fridge for up to 12 hours, provided the temperature does not exceed 25°C.
If not used within 12 hours, the vaccine must be discarded.
