Health Champions
Each pharmacy will need to have one member of staff that is a full time equivalent to become a health champion. They must complete the RSPH Level 2 
Award in Understanding Health Improvement which is a recognised qualification.
There is a mandated assessment that must achieve a pass rate of 20 out of 30 marks in order to be gain the champion role.
Please note, certificates are issued by the RSPH and this may take up to 10 working days to arrive.
This is a key training requirement, as is the leadership training to gain Level 1 HLP status. Health Champions will engage with the local community, set up and run health campaigns and interact with local organisations and charities. Need help selecting the right person?
