Q: I have a prescription for MooGoo scalp cream, 270g, I have never heard of this before, is it allowed on prescription?
A: Yes it is. MooGoo is classed as a toiletry, it is not currently black listed in any U.K. Drug Tariff and is consequently allowed on an NHS prescription.^
MooGoo scalp cream is claimed to relieve red and dry skin on the scalp, neck, ears, eye areas and along the side of the nose and mouth.
MooGoo scalp cream is a natural moisturiser that can be used in babies for cradle cap or for seborrhoeic dermatitis in adults.
MooGoo scalp cream is:
- free from Paraffin Oil.
- free from synthetic preservatives such as Parabens, Phenoxyethanol.
pH balanced. - The manufacturers always advise that a patch test is completed before using the product.
