People usually start smoking in their younger days and don’t worry about long term health effects or financial implications. This in turn can lead people to develop a dependency, making it difficult to stop. Although the majority of smokers understand that smoking is bad for their health, they are unaware of the help that is available to them.
Health implications to smoking have been widely communicated in recent years as an attempt to educate smokers on the harmful effects it has on the body. Breathing in somebody’s cigarette smoker (known as passive/second hand smoke) can contribute to an increased risk of health problems.
