A few handy hints...

  • Sunscreen products will go out of date! Unopened sunscreens have a shelf life of approximately two to three years, after this, it won’t be as effective.
  • Once sunscreen has been opened it will have a shelf life of around 12 months, be sure to advise your customers about this.
  • Direct sunlight can cause sunscreen to deteriorate so it’s recommended to leave it in a cool and shaded area.
  • Why not promote sun awareness during holiday season – you might want to consider setting up a window display or stand using props such as sand, buckets and spades, sunglasses to add some character and make it eye catching. Make it stand out using a variety of brands and link sell into additional travel items.
