Objectives
Minor ailments are generally defined as medical conditions that will resolve on their own and can be reasonably self-diagnosed and self-managed with over-the-counter medications. In the following modules the following non-exclusive list of minor ailments areas will be covered:

- The Pharmacy First Service
By the end of the module learners should have a greater understanding of various common ailments, their treatment regimes and the Pharmacy First Service. They should also be able to offer advice where needed and know when to refer to the pharmacist where appropriate.
