Signposting
You may need to give advice to patients on a wide range of topics so knowing some of the key places to signpost them to will really help.
Your pharmacy will have a signposting folder with contact details of local organisations, charities, community groups and other health care providers. It would be a good idea to familiarise yourself with this information.
Remember that if there is a specific query regarding medication you should either refer the query to the pharamcist yourself or direct the customer to contact the pharamcist.
