Stop and think about this – one infected mosquito bite is all it takes to contract malaria, which can be fatal if left undiagnosed and not treated quickly. In 2017 there were 219 million cases in relation to malaria, and the number of deaths reached a staggering 437 thousand1.
To stop the number of cases rising, we must spread the word and raise awareness of the importance of taking preventative measures. Have a chat with your customers today, deliver some brief advice, or communicate the key messages via a travel health promotion. Whatever it is, the information will benefit so many people in your community to stay safe whilst abroad.
