What are the dangers of being overweight?
Carrying an unhealthy amount of weight can bring about a number of health problems. It can seriously affect a person’s quality of life leaving them feeling singled out and experiencing psychological problems such as depression and low self-esteem.

Whilst being overweight or obese isn’t good for health, neither is being underweight. There may be underlying reasons as to why someone could be underweight including eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa or bulimia. Being underweight can lead to potential health risks including nutritional deficiencies, a weakened immune system, feeling tired, fertility problems in women and fragile bones.
