Whilst talking about mental health, it is imporant to consider the mental health and wellbing of yourself and your colleages, not just the patients.

Many people find that going to work is good for their mental health as it provides you an income, a sense of identity, it can give you contact with others, provides a routine and gives you an oppurtunity to achieve goals.

Some people may find that work has a negative impact on their mental health this may be due to workplace stress, poor relationship with colleages, or external factors that affect them whilst they are at work.

It is important to recognise that colleauges may need to talk to someone about their problems just as much as a customer and to understand how they may be feeling.
