Symptoms of Thrush
The symptoms experienced when suffering from thrush can vary between patients.
The most common symptoms in women include:-
- An itchy vagina/vulva
- Soreness around the vulva
- Swelling of the labia
- White discharge
The most common symptoms in men include:-
- Irritation, burning and redness around the head of the penis and under the foreskin
- A white discharge
- An unpleasant smell
- Difficulty pulling back the foreskin
Patients may also experience:-
- Pain during sex
- Thick discharge
- Pain when urinating
- Sores or cracked skinÂ
