You need to be aware of the following red flag symptoms. If a patient presents with any of the below they should be referred to the pharmacist:- 

  • If the patient has any blistering or swelling of the skin
  • If the patients have chills
  • Having a temperature of 38 degrees or above
  • If the patient is experiencing dizziness, headaches and feeling sick
  • If the patient is a child or baby
