Hay fever is an allergic reaction to pollen and can happen when it comes into contact with your throat, eyes, mouth and nose.
Hay fever is usually at its worse between March and September, particuarly when the weather is warm, humid and windy. The pollen season includes three main phases:-
- Tree Pollen from late March to mid May
- Grass Pollen from mid May to July
- Weed Pollen from end of June to September
Symptoms can last for weeks or months, unlike a cold that last for 1 or 2 weeks. Common symptoms include:-
- Sneezing and coughing
- Runny or blocked nose
- Itchy, red and watery eyes
- Itchy throat, mouth, nose and ears
- Loss of smell
- Pain around the temples and forhead
- Headaches

- Feeling Tired
