Day Lewis Group has announced the sudden passing of its former superintendent pharmacist Peter Glover on May 10.
In a statement issued today (May 12), the company described Mr Glover as “a dedicated and cherished member of the Day Lewis family for 37 years, having joined the company as a pharmacist in June 1987”.
Throughout a distinguished career, Mr Glover held various senior roles within the company. In recent years he had moved to a professional services advisory role, where he continued to share his extensive knowledge and experience with both long-standing and new colleagues.
“Peter was a core part of the senior management team for decades. His leadership and expertise were instrumental in shaping the company's success and growth over the years,” said Day Lewis.
JC Patel, Day Lewis co-founder, said: “Peter was much loved and well-known across the pharmacy industry. His contributions to the field were significant and his legacy will be remembered by all who had the privilege of working with him. He leaves behind a lasting impact on Day Lewis and the wider pharmacy community.”
The statement concluded: “The entire Day Lewis family extends its deepest condolences to Peter's family and friends during this difficult time. We will honour his memory by continuing to uphold the values and standards he showed throughout his remarkable career.”
