Community Pharmacy England is making a final call for pharmacy owners to complete its Pharmacy Advice Audit before the extended closing date of June 28. The audit asks pharmacies to tell CPE about the informal advice they provide and the impact Pharmacy First is having.
Sustainable funding is vital for the future, and CPE is conducting the audit to help it make the case for increased funding for the sector and for the further services the government needs pharmacies to deliver.
CPE chief executive Janet Morrison says: “I would like to encourage anyone who has not yet been able to complete the audit to do so. It adds strength to the evidence we are collecting. It makes it more persuasive and powerful. It is the evidence we need to have in our representations to both government and NHS England.
“It will help us talk about the extra work you are doing around Pharmacy First, It will help us lay the groundwork for the next contractual framework and to make the case for all the additional unfunded work that pharmacies do and the value delivered to patients and communities.”
